Feel free to reach out to me to discuss potential collaborations or to ask questions about my work! These are some of the topics I have been working on:

Global Fit wheel

LISA Global Fit

End-to-end data analysis pipeline for the upcoming LISA mission. The global fit algorithm is designed to simultaneously infer the number of sources present in the data and their parameters. Given the large number of expected sources, this is an extremely challenging problem: the dimensionality of the parameter space is expected to include around 100000 parameters!

emri

Extreme mass ratio inspirals

Extreme mass ratio inspirals (EMRIs) represent exciting opportunities for testing general relativity in the strong-field regime and strophysical environmental effects. They are among the most exciting sources for LISA, remaining in band for up to several years. For the same reason, they are also among the most challenging to analyze.

GB foreground

Galactic Foreground

Out of the tens of millions of compact binary systems in our galaxy, only a small fraction will be loud enough to be detectable by LISA. The rest will contribute to a confusing background (or foreground) in the data. It will be crucial to model it and its evolution over time. Image from our paper.

LISA PSD

Noise (mis)modelling

Investigating flexible models for noise and stochastic gravitational wave background (SGWB) reconstruction in LISA data. Analysis of the impact of flexible models on the recovery of a simulated SGWB in LISA noisy data. Image from our paper.

waveforms

Fast waveforms

Given the large number of expected sources, and the overall complexity of the analysis, it is crucial to develop fast and efficient waveform models for LISA. I have been involved at different stages in the development of such models for EMRIs, MBHs, and galactic binaries. Image from this FEW paper.
